A question for all my sistas...or other women with curly/kinky hair?

I'm done with relaxers. If I see another, I will scream. I chopped all my hair off (past shoulder length) back in last august, and now it's almost down my neck again. I want to straighten it...but I'm not sure how. Hot combs (lol, what my mother used to do)...I saw this 7 Day relaxer thing that my little sister uses with a blow dryer. And do ceramic straighteners work for our hair? Before I invest, lol. And what can I do, after I've straightened my hair, to reduce the amount of frizz?

Ceramic straighteners do work for our hair. I love to straighten my hair always and I love my ceramic straightener. You should get a straightener that is going to last a long time. I got a HOT TOOLS and it has been working for me for the past 3 years and I have all tha HOT TOOLS products. They really work and for your FRIZZ you should use the product called FRIZZEE it is a serum and it works great. I hope that I helped you out and want to hear what you do and if it works. Even though I know it will work.

dont worry i have bad hair sumtimes too! i bought a ceramic straightner, but its better to use the ones that u can use while ur hair is damp. its better that way. the one that i bought is called Wet2Straight by REMINGTON. it works pretty good!

I have VERY curly hair and I hate it. I have a ceramic hair straightener and it works really good. I don't do anything to reduce frizz, there usually isn't any. My straightener was pretty expensive though. $$$ It was about $70. It works though!

I don't really know..... but you should..........1st: wash and condition it. 2nd: blow dry it. 3rd: then flatiron it. You'll look beautiful!!!!

Girl I know what you mean!! You can try frizz-ease, its a shampoo that helps the relaxer out so you hair can be a little more straight. When you go to buy it try to buy all the steps

After the relaxer you have to take care of it or it'll brake off. I would sugjest that you flat iron it or get wrap or dooby.
