I want to permanently straighten my hair?

I want to do it with chemicals because I straighten it everyday and usually it won't last. My hair isn't super thin, but it's not extremely thick either. It's wavy and annoying, and I hate it. BUT, that seems to cost A TON of money. Straightening it with a straightener leaves it flat and doesn't seem to last long for occasions. Straightening it with a blow dryer is difficult, takes a long time and usually leaves my hair frizzy. Is there any..uh...simpler way?

I had it done. My hair is quite thick and wavy (about 3 inches below my shoulders long), and to my and my friends surprise it was very shiny and soft afterwards.

The best part was that as it grew out (which took agaes because my hair wasn't CURLY curly to start) I learnt how to blow dry my own hair straight, so I didn't need to get it done again because i'm an expert at it now!

Make sure you do your research though!! My hairdreser was great and gave me a special s/poo and cond to use a couple of weeks before hand to make sure I had no silicone on my hair, and you can't colour it for a little while before and after.

Verdict: Glad I did it!

Use a straightening cream before you straighten it and DONT get it perfessionaly straightened because you will regret it later!

omg i have the SAME problem. what i do is i buy a shampoo %26amp; conditioner that is made for making your hair straight. i also use a straightner, and it doesnt work to well, but after your done with the shampoo %26amp; conditioner, brush your hair and try to make it dry straight.

Go to a salon and try rebonding it. It won't cost much and your effort won't hurt you because you'll just sit there and wait.

in the philippines-they have it in the us and Canada too, theres this hair straightning called rebon or something and it straightens your hair like FOREVER-permanetly, but your hair does grow so you'll have to keep straightning the new hair. it doesnt cost much. but i wouldn't use it because having straight hair all your life is kind of boring. having volume and curls are actually nice.
