Hair care tips?

Good hair tips? Like the "RIGHTWAY" to shampoo and condition? My hair is straight, shoulder length. With side bangs..I shower and then put mousse and a little hairspray in my hair so my split ends dont stick because i have split ends like nuts lol. I use the blow dryer like once or twice a week, if not that. Im not fond of using the blow dryer i use it on low just to touch up for about a minute.

Any tips? :D Thanks (can you recommend shamppoos n stuff??) No pantene or herbal essences thhey test on animals thank u! :D

DONT RECOMMEND ME ANY SALON FOR DUMB SAKES lol

When your hair is almost dry, use the cool shot button. It closes you your cuticle and makes your hair shine. I like Thermasilk. I like how manageable it makes my hair. I really feel like it works in coordinance with styling too. Other than that, just try to get your hair trimmed about every 6-8 weeks.

I use shampoo and conditioner called "Aquage" and it is really wonderful. It is a little more expensive than shampoos bought at the drug store and places like that but it is wonderful. You can order it online just search Aquage on google but most hair salons sell it also.

If you want to moisturize your hair, I reccomend Alberto VO5 Moisture Milk shampoos. They use soy products in their shampoos, and they don't test on animals. It does a great job moisturizing my hair, and it makes my hair smell like a strawberry smoothie! Mmm..

the right way to shampoo and condition:

use a small drop of shampoo about the size of a quarter, gently massage into scalp try not to tangle the hair while its wet cause its more likely to break.

when conditioning - try to buy a moisterizing conditioner(if you want name brands you can msg me)

use a bit more conditioner than shampoo work into you scalp and ends, try to leave it in for about 5 mins, in the meantime you can shave or whatever, then rinse.

It's ok to blow dry as long as you use a heat protector before you dry, along with a serum to coat and give shine.

I really like shopper's drug mart's honey nut brand shampoo, conditoner and serum. I dont know if they test on animals, but its made with mostly natural ingredients.

also an amazing product to use before you blow dry is Paul Mitchell's skinny hair serum. again i dont know if they test on animals but its great and lasts pretty long.

Natural conditioner you can make at home.

3/4 coconut oil

1 or 2 teaspoons peppermint oil

1 or 2 teaspoons castor oil

There is nothing you can do about split ends except cut them off

Hair care tips?

Your hair has split ends because it is reaching out for moisture. You don't need to go to a salon, but you do need to trim the ends off, their dead now, no good saving them. Then use a quality shampoo. Remember, too much Pantene will actually dry out your hair, even when it claims it moisturizes. Thats why they sell a Pantene conditioner right next to the shampoo on the shelf at the grocery store.

trim off the dead ends

use Bed Head Moisture Maniac, expensive and worth every penny

use loreal vive, they smell good and works. also, u shuld just get a little trim to cut the split ends away cuz putting mousse and hairspray in ur hair everytime u shower is pretty hard on the hair. ur hair needs a break!
