I have blondish light brown hair with highlights. but the highlights are starting to look bad because they are growing out. can i use lemon juice to lighten my hair. how long does it take for the lemon juice to lighten my hair? Anyway to see faster results with the lemon juice? such as chromile tea. could i lighten it using lemon juice with a blow dryer?? please give me a good answer!! no go get it done pro or go and buy a kit and highlight it!! PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE!!

I lighten my hair all the time with lemon juice and it works. Sometimes you might have to do it more than once to get your desired results.

There's two effective ways to do it: put the lemon juice where you want your hair to lighten, and go out in the sun. I do this before I lay out to tan and when I come back in, my hair is lighter and it is noticable. I have dirty blonde hair, too. It gives a golden blonde highlight effect. If you don't want want to go outside, then blow dry your hair after placing the lemon juice in. I hear placing aluminum foil on the peices you put the juice in help quicken the results as well. But it does work, and saves money.

If you plan to do this though, don't change your mind in a few months and try to darken your hair. It won't work. I tried to go brunette after trying the lemon trick, I came out blonder! It does something to the particle of your hair that it won't hold onto the color.

Good luck!

Didn't work for me. Try peroxide.

Yes you can use lemon Juice. Just go out in the sun for about a half hour til it is dried. Try the blow dryer, it may work. my aunt lightened her hair this way for YEARS. its fine.

I don't think it works but you could try sun in it worked for me all you have to do is pick it up at almost any store spray it in and go out side on a sunny day thats all you do.

You can use lemon juice, chamomile tea, or olive oil, but I suggest you use lemon juice since your hair is already light. This website has different ways to do it: http://www.kidzworld.com/article/5859-ge...

Have fun and use sunblock cause you don't want to get a sunburn!

I've never put lemon juice in my hair before, and I will never do it because I hear that it can really mess up your hair colour.

Anyways, it will make your hair lighter, but the highlights will still look the same. In fact, your hair will look the exact same, except the brightness of your hair.

Thick hair?

Thick hair?

just blow dry it straight

Thick hair?

wrap your hair at night.

Thick hair?

dont blow dry it.

it will frizz FOR SUrE!!!!

ok. so brush it until you like it. (tie it up if you like)

then soak it in hair spray. works for me

Thick hair?

dont use hairspray unless you have to because it is un-healthy.

Thick hair?

You need to get a straightener!!! thats really the only thing that will really work...Try getting Frizz-ez by John frida it helps with the frizzyness

good luck

Thick hair?

wash it than blow it dry for at least 10mins

Thick hair?

ok please just ask one of ur friends cause dudes don't know

Thick hair?

Get your hair thinned out at like coles salaon, great clips, anywere!

Thick hair?

Well i have really thick hair and when i go 2 a hair salon then i ask them 2 trim it and then i ask them 2 thin it out. I use tresseme shampoo and conditioner, and then when i get out of the shower i brush it and put it in a bun or ponytail and leave my hair like that till it dries and then take it out and its usually not frizzy. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!!!!

Thick hair?

it's kinda hard if you don't have any products...so I suggest that you go and buy some. You can try wetting your hair a bit, and then flattening it by combing through your hair.. then secure it with a ponytail.

Thick hair?

I would first get a haircut....get lots and lots of layers and ask your hairdresser to thin it out with a razor. then when you style it (i woudl really recommend buying some products to put in it makes it so much easier....biosilk silk therapy is amazing) if you have no products, use your brush while you blowdry it....and maybe invest in a straightening iron too. then spray some hairspray onto your brush and brush your hair with it when your all done. hopefully that should keep your hair in place! :-)

Thick hair?

Umm . . . you can probably make it work if you bought an Anti-frizz serum . . . and then blow dry it straight.

Thick hair?

well, a good way would be a special shampoo, like l'oreal, i think they made something to help frizzy hair. also, you definitely want it to be healthy, so keep it moisturized. a sign of dehydrated hair is frizziness. so drink lots of water and don't go swimming - chlorine is bad for your kind of hair!

Thick hair?

It probably frizzes up by absorbing moisture from the atmosphere; the best way to stop it is with products I'm afraid. A simple leave in conditioner means your hair absorbs that instead of moisture but if you just need a quick fix hair serums like Frizz-Ease are great. Apart from that, try to touch it as little as possible - the grease and oil on your hands will also make it frizz.

Thick hair?

dnt use a blow dryer it makes it puffier.

U should take a shower and then put like some gel in it and comb the tangles out.(if you wanna wear it down)

U should take a shower them comb out tangles gel a lil and put it in a pony tail.

Thick hair?

1st of all you need 2 learn how 2 spell

ahve - have

says - stays

yit - it

very simple tasks

Thick hair?

maybe invest in buying a flat iron probably a 200 degree one only because it works faster and tougher. I also have thick frizz hair and blowdrying it always makes it worse for me so dont block dry it unless yu need to. Also after flat ironing it hairspray may make your hair better longer. If you cant afford a flat iron you could always just ask someone to use a clothes iron but the only thing is its not made for hair so afterword your hair might just dry up a bit but if you use a really good moistureizing shampoo and conditioner shoudl work like a charm =]

Thick hair?

make sure you blow dry it right after you get out of the shower or after it gets wet. try to spray the roots of your hair around your face to keep the stray hairs down(dont put to much though). if you have bangs u can also lightly spray them or use a hair mist(lighter than hairspray for holding in place hair naturally) if you have any questions you can write me back

Thick hair?

Just brush your hair without using hairspray till its straight, then tie it in a ponytail to the side of your head.

Not using a blowdryer is the best option but in this case try this!

Hope this helped!

How can i keep static out of my hair?

all winter my hair stays full of static and it drives me nuts! some people reccomend rubbing a dryer sheet on your head to get it out, just like it does for clothes.

but, is there any other tricks i can use? or even better a actual hair product?

How can i keep static out of my hair?

try hair gel

How can i keep static out of my hair?

um...

i dont get static often

but when i do, i put it in a ponytail w/ out the rubber band, and only my hands to hold it, and slide one of my hand out so its like im taking out a rubber band

How can i keep static out of my hair?

you could dab a little bit of lotion on you hands n rub it in but dont put to much on the roots because your hair will look greesy

How can i keep static out of my hair?

well..just put some water on it..it works for me!

LOL...kay...so maybe use those anti cling um...dryer sheets..but the best for me is to use some water..does the trick everytime!

How can i keep static out of my hair?

I use a straightener, but NOT ceramic. they are a rip-off and dont work at all. Hair gel works well too.

Can hair really be cut to make it curl?

I have straight hair with a little tiny bit of a wave. My friend says that if I go to the right stylist and get it cut right it will curl on its own and it will be wash and go. I don't believe I could get it to curl without a round brush and blow dryer which is too much work, it takes a long time for me. Is she right???

Can hair really be cut to make it curl?

it is possible to get it cut to curl in a certain direction. It might not the the huge ringlets or anything, but it is definately possisble. I have naturally wavy hair, but I have gone to hair stylist who have cut my hair to curl in a certain direction before.

Can hair really be cut to make it curl?

yes

Can hair really be cut to make it curl?

Yeah. I have wavy hair and I got long layers throughout my entire head and it got pretty curlly! My hair is really thick too so if your hair isn't very thick it will curl alot. Basically just get layers and your hair will curl . =]

Can hair really be cut to make it curl?

UUUHHH I am thinking maybe if you keep it short it will stay with the curl pattern instead of growing it out straight.

Can hair really be cut to make it curl?

If you have enough curl or wave to your hair a shorter cut or taking some of the weight off with layers can allow your natural wave or curls to be more bouncy. The weight of longer hair can pull the curl or wave down. A haircut is not however going to suddenly give you springy spiral curls if it is not natural for your hair in the first place. There are many products available to help you define your hairs natural wave or curl...diffusers also work very well.

Why is my hair....?

why is my hair always staticky [[idk how to spell it]]

my friend told me to rub it with a dryer sheet but it didnt work!!

its driving me crazyyyyy

Why is my hair....?

ohhh awwyit...dats a very natural problem in winters...n believe me happens wid evrybody...u cant do much abt it but jus b careful not to bring ur hair in contact the sweaters u wear....use a conditioner....ur hair become charged even due to dryness.\

avoid use of hairdryers

and most importantly get hold of a wooden comb frm smwhere it will greatly reduce ur problem///dont use plastic combs or hairbrushes...

Why is my hair....?

put a little frizz ease serum into it and it should lay down some

Why is my hair....?

do you straighten your hair

Why is my hair....?

use hair spray.

Why is my hair....?

mayb cus dey r too dry ...google fer some remedies fer dry hair ...i heard abt eggs mayoniese but cmmon ...v hav products dat do dat fer us rite ...

if u wear a woolen hat etc..

hmm yea dry hair.....

Why is my hair....?

you should take garnier antifrizz serum and work it evenly through yhur hairr it really works for me

Why is my hair....?

tiny bit of dax wax (blue)

Why is my hair....?

the air around you is dry and is causing the static, you need a smoothing serum to weigh it down a little.Try Paul Mitchell super skinny serum. It is light weight so unless you use too much it won't weigh it down or make it look greasy

Why is my hair....?

static is caused by dry cold air (aka winter air)

there are some shampoos and hair products that can controll static. well anyways first of all you can use clarifying shampoo and then you can put conditioner. (conditioner really helps)

i also read fabric dryer sheets can help.

here are some at home remidies you can do.

there is also antifrizz things. u should try sunsilk anti friz and there is also ganier anti friz. just look for things that say anti friz it really helps

Why is my hair....?

Spray hairspray on your brush then run it through your hair, it should do the trick!

Why is my hair....?

Try out all the opinion that has email to u, Well,I agree with your friend (Totally Girlie)if that opinion no work , as last resource U have to seek a dermatologist help.

Setting Hair in Curlers?

I want to get my hair set in a salon. Would they let me wear the curlers home and come back the next day, or would it be better to sit under a dryer there? I thought I recall someone telling me that if you shower before removing the curlers, the steam will help the set stay longer.

Setting Hair in Curlers?

It all depends on the salon some will let you and some won't. But to be on the safe side if you really want to do home with the curlers bring your own to the salon with you. I'm sure they won't mind.

Setting Hair in Curlers?

Just go there and they'll have you sit under a drier...I don't think they'll let you take them home! :-)

Setting Hair in Curlers?

No salon will let you walk out of their shop with curlers in your hair. If you want to get your hair styled in a salon then do it ALL there and enjoy the whole experience. Steam will cause the curlers to fall out and do you propose sleeping in the curlers? I can tell you from previous years experience that is a really bad hair day idea...

What helps the set stay longer is getting it done by a professional and then enjoying it until you have to sleep on it and it goes away. If you want a permanent solution to perfect hair every day...buy a wig.
