Air dry or dryer?

I just started roller setting my hair and am wondering if it is better to let the rollers air dry or to use a bonnet dryer, which I have. Will it make a difference on how long the curl will last?

Air dry or dryer?

I usually let mine air dry and it seems to work good. Heat isn't good for your hair. If you let it air dry, though, and dont sleep with the rollers in your hair, then you might be seen with a head full over rollers. If you dont mind that.

If you let it air dry your hair is more likely to fall because it is staying wet, which weighs down the curlers.

If you blow dry it then your hair will adapt to being rapped around the curler and curl easier

Also, before you put your hair in rollers, try putting setting lotion in your hair....it helps the curls to stay.

When you roll your hair, spray it with hair spray.

*Heat* can make a difference in how long the curls will last ... it can also damage the hair. It's a trade-off.
